Slim/healthy girls got any good diet tips that work lol! :p?

Hey i am really sick of yoyo dieting, and i was wondering if anyone has any good diet tips, diets, lose weight stuff lol, that actually has worked :) i really appreciate this thanks guys xx

    go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7
    p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your
    initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don’t
    eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you
    don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your diet is
    still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or
    to buy special meals or plans.

    There is many diets and meal replacement out there, but still the best way is to keep a balances diet reduced in carbs, read the labels, eat slowly, listen to your body, when your stomach is full, stop. Drink lots of water. Eat small meals and healthy snacks.
    Exercise at least 4 to 5 times a week for about 45 minutes, keep your heart rate up to burn some fat. Normally to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume, so keep a journal of what you eat everyday.

    Set yourself a time – like 6/7pm after which you don’t eat – this stops you snacking (but obviously you can relax the rule for special occasions) and it really helps lose weight – the earlier the better.
    Always eat a big healthy breakfast like wholegrain cereal/ oats / yoghurt / fruit etc, this way you start each day thinking you’ve done well and continue to make healthy choices.
    For snacks: low fat plain yoghurt, fruit, handful of almonds etc
    Find a nice drink like tea, hot chocolate, horlicks etc that you can have when you are really craving something sweet as it will only be about 100 calories but is more satisfying and have 1-2 a day as required by your cravings.
    Don’t ban anything treat yourself sometimes like plan to have a nice dessert once a week (I like B&J cherry garcia frozen yoghurt mmmm).
    Basically just focus on having a healthy routine – breakfast, lunch, dinner made up of food you like and treat yourself sometimes so you don’t binge.
    I’ve been anorexic/bulimic in the past so if I can get into healthy habits anyone can :)
    I started just with the healthy breakfast rule and then added in other changes to how I ate gradually.
    If you ever binge then forgive yourself and go back to being healthy the next day -don’t start starving yourself to make up for the binge.
    Oh and exercise is great, makes you feel good, tones you and cuts your appetite.
    I’ve lost a stone so far and all the time have not felt deprived, I feel healthy and like I’ve finally sorted myself out.

    I’ve always been a slim person and I eat very healthy for the most part too so here are some things I do: I always eat breakfast (I know, the old one!) and i often eat sweets for breakfast (like waffles or cake) or I eat cereal, sometimes a granola bar if i’m in a hurry. I also eat frequently during the day. By 10:00am I’m starving so I have a small snack, usally pretzels or an apple or something. For lunch during the week I eat a lean cusinine and some other things like yogurt, fruit, veggies, crackers etc until I’m full. I snack again around 3:00 and then I eat dinner and then snack again before bed. I think the trick is to never let yourself get really hungry so you have no reason to feel you need to overeat. I try to keep my dinners on the healthy side most of time and eat a lot of veggies and meat or fish. If I am craving something I eat it in moderation instead of depriving myself.

    I think the single best diet tip is to stop thinking about dieting :) The more you think about food (should I or shouldn’t I) the more it consumes you and it has been proven that doing this actually makes you gain weight. Try adopting a new attitude instead of a strict controlling menu. Instead of saying “I’m fat and need to lose weight”, say “I haven’t been eating very healthy foods lately and I will incorporate some healthier choices to make my body feel better”. If you spend all your time thinking you have to be thinner all you will accomplish is lower self esteem (which leads to weight gain). Studies have also shown the people who succeed the most on diet plans are the ones that visualize themselves as being skinny during the process. Your mind is your most powerful tool here.

    I have a job involves a fair amount of desk time so when i am home i keep myself moving by doing a lot of housework and walking the dog.

    If you need a more strict routine try Weight watchers. I know a lot of people who did great on that and it really teaches how to make healthy food choices on your own without weighing or counting calories.

    I used to focus on my weight a lot too but i stopped doing it and instead focus on feeling healthy. It has really made me a lot happier to stop worrying if I was fat all the time and just eat to feel good and enjoy life.
